Meanwhile, just down the road from the outdated Window of the World was the much more interesting, much better maintained, much livelier ‘Splendid China’ park. Same sort of idea but this time replicating all of China in one place. (Still plenty of racial politics going on, mind, with some dodgy research on smaller ethnic groups.
