 A list of resolutions and / or suggestions for travelers in 2010: 1. Patience: Resolve to anticipate delays, inspections, cancellations and other travel inevitable pain. Getting angry only hurts yourself, so just smile, grin and bear it. Better yet, stick one of those little electonic gadgets in your ear and spend your waiting time listening to Strauss, Sachmo, Beethoven, Sinatra or Ella.2. Spread a bit 'longer around: The people in the travel industry working hard to give the best service. Most are not in high-income groups, and they depend on your suggestions. So, in your travels this year, try a smile, a word of thanks and a few dollars more. You can go a long way.3. See America first. Make your first year sunset to enjoy the natural beauty of America. Yellowstone, Grand Canyon, Waikiki Beach, Yosemite, the Statue of Liberty and the Golden Gate Bridge are waiting for you! 4. lite travel: Leave those big, heavy bags at home this year. Get a rolling carry-on and take a lot less stuff with you. Air travel is painful enough, without bothering to say goodbye, and taking control (or lose) bags.5. Eat simple: It's OK to go to those large, elegant, expensive restaurants on special occasions, but in your travels even seek out those little mom and pop cafes where food is simple, healthy and very cheaper.6. Living in small places: This year, instead of the grossly-overpriced great palaces, check online or with your travel agent hometown of neat little boutique hotel, bed & breakfast inns, and simple. Why pay $ 300 per night when you use the room for sleeping. Forget the suites with magnificent views and balconies. All you have to do to see all the local landscape is to walk outside.7. Negotiate: The economics of travel is still evil, and one of the reasons is that they have spent the last ten years, increasing their own prices ridiculous. There is no reason for you to pay so much for anything in your travels. When you're booking, shopping or check-in, to say the magic words: You can do much better on that price 8!. Take it easy: This year's will stop and smell the flowers. Do not be rushed around for hours making the trip a hysterical scramble after another. The conversation is not dead, but just went electronic.10. Do not go alone: a good trip with someone you enjoy being with you, son, daughter, mother, father, grandfather, friend, neighbor or others. If you are single, widowed or divorced, make this the year when you end your loneliness and recorded for single trips and cruises. Forget for a while 'dating online. Who knows? Maybe Mr. or Ms. Right is waiting out there in the moonlight sea or mountain for you.
