Posting more UE4 work. This time on a small project I made to learn about decals and splatter effects, I want to juice this game up a lot more, it’s quite fun and frustrating to play, I was thinking of mobile controls and put it on the ap store, not sure how many people would enjoy it. My idea is to do crazy world designs (Alice in wonderland inspired floaty-things), lots of levels, a scoreboard and completion % with collectibles (Think san francisco rush on the n64, trying to get keys) maybe power boosts to blast you up so that you have to collect things in the room, there’s quite a bit I want to do with this idea. UE4 makes even the simple things amazing to look at. Now all I need is a name for this game.

If your going to spam c'mon to signify enemies at base, the least you can do is push on after I kill them all because you were too much of a wimp to move off the spawn pad. Don’t just sit there and let them recapture the base.
Was writing an article on the music of Splatoon today and just felt the urge to do some fanart too!
I think many of you on team dog are missing the point of why we were upset
Team cat knew we had less people, so much so that there were team dog vs team dog matches. (I mean team dog was like double team cat)
Team cat knew that some matches were unbalanced, so much so that there would be 3 vs 4 or even 1 vs 4 matches with team cat at the disadvantage (we have seen almost everyone complain about connectivity and match ups)
But we still fought on the belief that this would be like any regular Splatoon battle. We fought on the belief that even if we were the smaller team, if we fought hard and won more matches then we could still win Splatterfest, but that obviously wasn’t the case.
I know only team cat vs team dog matches were counted, but the point was that we just barely won the majority of those; even when the teams were unbalanced sometimes.
I know that popularity only counted toward 1/3 of the overall score, but the point was that team dog had such an overwhelming popularity that it would have made your victory unless we won by a margin of at least 5+% which is statistically unlikely to happen given the random match of system Splatoon has.
Splatterfest teams will most likely always be within 2-3% of each other battle wise which means that all it boils down to on the end is a popularity contest, and that goes against the spirit of a competition, and to me, against the point of the game.
