What would Samuel do if he found somebody like him in species?
He would be incredibly shy initially but still super interested in them, eventually learning to overcome his fear and talk to them (or maybe they'd talk to it first depending on who they are as a person). If they both got on really well, Samuel would be overjoyed that he finally has a friend who truly understands him! Of course, it doesn't really show this joy outright but I'm sure the other person would understand their significance to him.
And if they didn't get on well.... let's just say Samuel would find some way to blame it on itself and go into a depressive spiral, thinking he wasted his only chance with someone of the same species. So let's hope they would both get on really well, yeah?
Either way, they would definitely remind him of it's time with Octo Samurai, for better or for worse.
