Mike was, once again, strolling over the plaza, this time sipping on a milkshake he had just bought. It was just past midday, so the maps had changed only a little bit ago. He watched the battle tower, sipping on his drink while trying to decide if he wanted to bother Sheldon for weapons today.
Maybe later. He watched the tower, and the handful of squids leaving. Maybe he could bother one of them for their weapons, too, see if he could fix any. He rifled through his pockets, finding a couple coins. He’d have to, either way, since he was almost out of cash himself.

If she was going to live with him now, she might as well introduce her as something other than the obvious - even though she still only thought of him as the kid that she helped keep alive. Maybe they’d both get something out of talking more.

Before she could take a deep breath ( and realize she had nothing to say ) a sharp inhalation of pain quickly silenced her, leaving Bonbon to suck air as her bandages painted themselves a sparkly pink colored ink.
