When I was going full vegan, I based a lot of which no vegan foods I stopped eating by what I had in the fridge. Once I ran out of milk/eggs/butter/cheese that was it. I found it a lot easier to control what I bought from the store than what I ate while at home. Also, less food waste! Which made me feel better.

Ah! Bummer about it not even throwing a bug check to look at, that sounds terribly annoying. I've had the thing where it crashes too fast to do anything useful and that's even more annoying bc like...let me troubleshoot, cmon. I got my pc back from the techs, they updated my bios and I haven't had a crash since but given the kind of crashes that doesn't mean it's fixed just that it hasn't crashed yet. It has however created a new problem where putting my pc in sleep mode causes the motherboard to stop reading the hard drive so one step forward two steps back but yaknow. I appreciate the support

Gargs are A+ great and very easy to set up! So I keep Egg in a bioactive setup, which means that there’s basically a little ecosystem in there. There’s a cleaner crew of springtails and isopods and live plants. But! You of course do not have to set up a garg like this. They are quite happy in plastic tubs with fake plants. Basically so long as they have the right humidity, plenty of perches (horizontal and vertical), access to food, and places to hide, they’re happy!

Do you have any tips for transporting your tegu? I'm going to visit my mom (2+ hours away) and I don't have anyone to look after her so I was going to bring her with me.
Sure do! Get a soft-sided cat carrier- I’ve heard the metal/plastic ones can lead to nose rubs as they are none too keen on them- and be sure to keep her warm during the trip. Two hours isn’t a very long travel time at all, comparatively, so she should be fine! Be sure to offer her water as soon as you stop!
