One thing I love about Boston is this little gem on Copp’s Hill right across from the Burying Ground. The #SkinnyHouse, aka the #SpiteHouse, was built in 1862. Local legend says it was built because some land was left to two brothers, one of whom was away fighting the Civil War. The one who wasn’t at war built a house that took more than his share of land, and when the soldier brother came back, this tiny house was his answer to his brother’s greed.
