#spirits intertwined

Actually yes!

I have a few. Most of them take place after the events of Elusive Spirits in the timeline.

The Architect from Elusive Spirits: I was going to have Lin interact with the guy who orchestrated her kidnapping and tortured her for days. It was going to be part of his plea deal. But it just didn't come together.

Huan giving Lin a cane to help with her knee after the events of Elusive Spirits. So the cane will make an appearance in the last chapter, but I won't have the scene where Huan makes/gives the cane to his Aunt

Katara seeing Kya & Lin together as a couple. Katara discovered that her daughter was in a "relationship" with Lin after Lin lost her bending and they had an argument. I wanted to write a scene with the three of them where Katara could see how happy they were. This sorta happens with Kya reading Lin's letter in the South Pole

Lin & Su having a heart to heart after Bataar Jr & Kuvira leave and are on their campaign. Where both sisters know this isn't going to end well, but Su is having a hard time admitting it.

More Lin & Saikhan being friends. It just didn't fit in.

Wander stepped off the boat and immediately felt the oppressive aura of the area. A blast of intense heat, dry air, the hissing and splashing of lava on stone. Hotland...and he just plain didn’t give a damn.

(Soooo...I thought you hated this place?) (Not today I don’t!)

With nary a glance at the magma surrounding him, the amalgam strode swiftly through the smoldering caverns straight ahead to the elevator. He rummages through his pockets while rushing past the guard, searching fo- AH there it is, the familiar jingle and feel of cold metal. The key. He wouldn’t be be taking the long way up this time, learned from that mistake. The wanderer began his ascent, straight to the top floor and the resort.

(What’s the occasion?) (I’m going to see Tarma.)

(Oh! No wonder in your in a good mood. Took you long enough.) (...agreed.)

The doors open and he resumes his trek. The resort is nothing more than a change of color to Wander. Something more important awaits. A neon sign, ‘CORE’ in bright red. There’s his destination. He can barely restrain himself, the urge to just break into a sprint nearly overwhelming.

(Almost there...)

He pass through and marches on. Across the bridge lies the CORE, an imposing sight, magnificent, the culmination of the greatest mind in the Underground. And utter trash compared to the beauty that stood on the bridge.

Wander surges forth and wraps his arms around the vision, his wisp flickering over to hover in her view.
