Man I completely forgot how fun these are to make! After much hard work, I’m super excited to share Change with the Tides by SeriouslyCalamitous!! All the tags and ratings you need to know are in the linked Ao3 work! Even if you’re not into podfics, I highly recommend reading the original fic if you love the idea of pirate Scar and want something with lots of sweet and funny and dynamic dialogue between the Desert Duo! It’s got some AMAZING piratey action too!
I’ve been obsessed with SeriouslyCalamitous’ stuff for A WHILE now, and I’ve been SO excited watching them take the fandom BY STORM recently with their latest fic, Midnight Strangers!! They are literally so cool and you should read all of their fics.
Originally, I wanted to do a podfic of their Be The Death of Me (SO GOOD, ONE OF MY FAVORITES, GO READ IT NOW), but I realized that going from 20k word fics (which ended up being 2 hrs total) straight to 70k word fics might not be a great idea. So, I’m going slightly more middle ground with ANOTHER favorite fic of theirs, with 50k words and this time I don’t have a deadline, which definitely helps! ( ᐛ )و
I am DETERMINED to finish this podfic, with SFX and all. I refuse to leave such a wonderful amazing fic and it’s wonderful amazing author and their extremely generous and trusting blanket permission statement (on their Tumblr) hanging out to dry. Also, I REALLY REALLY REALLY want to podfic Be The Death of Me, so I HAVE to finish this one (•̀ᴗ•́)و
Anyways, I’ll stop gushing now! I’ll probably just do a little reblog for each new chapter update, so keep an eye out I suppose (￣▽￣)
