-- It's yet another day for Souichi to cause some mischief. It was like a normal day for him almost, he always causes mischief one way or another, and it was honestly exciting for the small boy. Instead of staying home and bugging his brother, he thought he might go out. The pale boy thought he might find something interesting in the woods.

It didn't take long until he would find something, a spider on a tree branch. This was perfect, he could use this to his advantage! Though, he felt a presence nearby. Turning his head, he noticed a girl that wasn't too far from him. His smile faded as he turned his body a bit, and he ended up staring at her. Was she lost? Hopefully, she isn't going to pay much attention to him. --

๑ -  She gave a series of loud, hacking coughs. She tried to drown out the sound somewhat with cupping her hands in front of her face, not wanting to drawn any attention to her. She gave a grimace, the irritation in the back of her throat getting more and more prominent. 

She’d started getting sick about a week ago, due in no small part to the downpour she had survived in these streets around that time. With no place to dry off, she was surprised she hadn’t succumbed to the elements out here...she didn’t even have any scraps of wood to make  herself a makeshift shelter like her mother had...

Shaking her head, she crossed her arms across her chest; letting out a  breath that came out as a small wheeze.  It was...getting hard to breathe lately. 

She jolted slightly at the sounds of footsteps, back pressing against the brick wall with both hands at her sides. But the person that stepped out from around the corner...wasn’t a stranger. She could easily recognize that face. 

But...that shouldn’t be possible....!

๑ - “Oh- h-hey Chie.” though there was a touch of  shakiness in her voice, the girl looked significantly less anxious than she had an hour or two ago- fighting an incoming panic attack in the middle of the night. She’d taken refuge in her old friend’s kitchen since then.

“I hope I didn’t wake you up again.” she gave a small bow of her  head in apology before she could even hear her answer. There was a stack of recently made crepes on the counter; stuffed with a variety of fruits and whipped cream.
