and i've been imagining that sudden jolt of pain as he takes his first breath- instinctively flinching to curl in on himself only to slam his knees into a barrier- okay, not weird, hes woken up in strange places- slept in strange places before, but as he tries to make more room for himself- strain to see in the darkness, he just finds more- silk? surrounding him on all sides. something that should bring comfort closing in around him and stifling the already stale air with his hot breath- the panic mounting when he cant seem to escape- he can't get out he cant remember anything that happened leading up to him being here in his panic to escape -- (a timer ticking down. laughter. the cracking of bones- of metal against flesh.) -- or maybe he just doesn't want to.
