Hello dear spinelstar!

*SHAMELESS PLUG TIME*

As an amateur voice actress, this is probably my favorite project that I’ve worked on so far. It’s a redub of Jack Getschman’s MLP:FiM abridged series, Sccotertrix The Abridged with show-accurate voices! (Or an attempt at them, haha.)

And yes, the director of the project was kind enough to cast me as ALL OF THE MANE 6. Plus Mayor Mare. XD It was a lot of work and a lot of fun! It’s always been my dream to voice all my fav ponies in something!

So far we’ve only done episode 1 of the abridged series, but episode 2 is on the way! (Hopefully this weekend!)

THIS ONE

Hey everybody! It’s been over nine months since I actually posted anything of my own on here. So... y’know... it’s been a while! How about that SU season finale, huh? XD

I’ve been pretty much throwing myself into the whole voice acting thing, so that’s why I’ve been largely absent this year. It’s been super fun! I’ve already been involved in a lot of projects. I’ll probably plug a bunch of them in separate posts over the next few weeks. But for anyone who’s interested, here’s some links!

My YouTube Channel - I do song covers in different character voices! Including Pearl, Rarity, and my impression of what I think Mimzy from Hazbin Hotel will sound like. Well, that’s pretty much it, guys! I haven’t been doing much in the way of art lately (aside from YouTube thumbnails), but if I start up again, I’ll be sure to post it on here!

I agree that it’s a shame we don’t have any sort of PinkieDash duet yet. Here’s a bandaid for that problem.

Watching Kuroko no Basuke. A lot of Kuroko no Basuke. My friends are very nice for humoring me.

Finishing the Yousen match and hearing manicferret call Murasakibara her spirit animal, BECAUSE YES, I APPROVE. Also referring to him as “the giant purple child” and/or “giant purple baby” (especially when we get to the whole I’m-not-crying-shut-up-I-have-a-towel-on-my-head scene).

Bonding with manicferret over how Haizaki really needs to stop licking his fingers after touching the basketball, because omg, that seriously bugs me. (We are maybe both germophobes? //laughs)

Deciding that Takao’s passes to Midorima during their match against Rakuzan are the most married thing ever, and thus the game will now be referred to as “The Orange Wedding.” It’s like the Red Wedding but with less angst and tragedy, okay maybe it’s not really that different, dammit Akashi I love you but that was still stone cold

Watching spinelstar and manicferret sample hard cider, especially when they both start freaking out about how one seems to “disappear” in a weird way on their tastebuds? At which point it earns the most awesome name in the history of beverages: “Kuroko no Cider.”

Listening to manicferret ponder the relationship between Murasakibara and Himuro. Trying not to blurt out, “YOU SHOULD WRITE FANFIC ABOUT THEM.” Eventually blurting out, “YOU SHOULD WRITE FANFIC ABOUT THEM.” Being ridiculously excited when she says she’ll consider it.

Convincing manicferret to join Tumblr. THIS IS THE BIGGEST ONE.

Rambling until like 5 a.m. about cognitive functions (thank you rose-selavy, and also akashiseijuro4!). And also about KnB, of course, and how you can ship almost anything in it and just how great it is in general.

Hearing manicferret say she loves Kuroko, and Kagami, and everyone on Seirin. THIS IS A BIG DEAL, GUYS. She rarely ever likes protagonist characters/teams. IT IS PROOF SEIRIN IS AWESOME. She also loves Kise (again, not her usual type at all) and also Aomine (much more her usual type) and tons of the characters. Which makes me super happy.

Listening to KnB songs the next day while we all sit around and doodle and write stuff. My life is now complete, basically.
