You looked up from your dirt filled fingernails and freshly planted azaleas and smiled at your boyfriend. "Hey, Pete! What do you need?"

"I just brought you some tea is all." Peter walked over and handed you a steaming mug, pecking you on the head. "Do you need any help?"

You took a satisfying sip and grinned. "Chai! My favorite! Thank you so much, Peter." You kissed his cheek. "And no, I don't need any help, per say, but I'd love for you to stay out here with me."

Peter nodded brightly with a smile and kneeled down beside you. "What've you planted so far?"

"Right here I've just put down some azaleas, and over there I have my chrysanthemums." You pointed to a separate section of your garden, where tomato flowers were just beginning to bloom. "And there's my fruit and vegetable garden, where I've planted tomatoes, carrots, blackberries, and I think I put down some strawberries too, though honestly I can't remember."

Peter's gaze was filled with admiration. "You've been hard at work here, huh?" He nudged you playfully.

You smiled, proudly but with a bit of bashfulness. "Yeah, I've been working since this morning. What do you think?"

He looked around. "It's beautiful, as always. I think all of your fingers are green, Flower."

You rolled your eyes, but your smile stayed just as bright on your face. "Well, one of us has to be good at it."

"Hey!" He put a hand to his chest in mock offense.

You giggled and leaned against his side. "I love you, Peter."
