The reason the game is the way it is, is because (as stated in the description) it was fully intended as a sort of spiritual sequel to a game I made when I was about twelve, called Bat-game.

Bat-game is sadistic.

I have no idea what I was thinking.

The graphics are blinding, the gameplay is UNFORGIVING TO AN EXTREME,

and if you miss the timing on Batman's jab, you literally explode, and you have to restart the ENTIRE GAME. IT'S PAINFUL. And glitchy.

My idea for Spider-game was to make it almost the exactly the same.

And so it is.

Sort of.

Not nearly as glitchy though.

I did go through the trouble of adding loads of hidden content.

It's just really hard to get. (In some cases. In other cases it's hardly hidden at all and calling it "hidden content" is sort of laughable.)
