The fact that after the annual sabertooth kills Logan’s loved ones while torturing him bday tradition, Logan chooses to spend his time with Spider-Man and not his x-men family because Peter’s the only person who TRULY has no doubt that Logan’s a good guy just sends me over the moon. Logan knows that the x-men are aware of his violence and ability to kill. Sometimes even kill people who may not fully have it coming, sometimes they may even doubt Logan, but family accepts flaws. The difference though, is that Peter, has zero doubt in his mind that Logan would ever do something that doesn’t align with being a good guy. I don’t think it’s his lack of knowing Logan either, I think if Peter knew (or maybe even knows) of some of Logan’s more morally grey or wrong actions, Peter would know it was in a state of Logan not being himself. This guy has zero doubt that Logan would ever be bad, not even slightly, even when he starts bar fights and nearly takes a guys head off after shooting him, Peter knows Logan would never really do it, sure he may step in to create some more space, but Peter’s just got this understanding of his characters morals I don’t think anyone comes close to. There’s a lot of judgement or conspiracy on Logan’s morals from others but Peter’s never got a doubt in his mind that Wolverines morals aren’t ever anything less than a good superhero’s morals.

Jeez I think I’m repeating myself and rambling but I just adore how these two work around each other! Sorry for the weird extra wordy rant on these two and their tradition. I just find it so endearing that Peter every year without fail meets with Logan for his birthday, the guy doesn’t even drink :,( <\3 no reminder needed, he literally saves the date and Logan looks forward to it!

I need to find more times when they interact, but so far I’ve only scratched the surface. I read the Spider-Man and Wolverine run but I wasn’t a huge fan until the last half end when they pulled a cool switcheroo stunt and Wolvie ate at Aunt Mays (very cute plot twist). Anyway thought I’d bring those two up and their dynamic in case anyone may know of some comic issues or runs where I can encounter the two! I know there was some in the Deadpool bad blood run- but I’ll keep scouring. I just adore their friendship!
