He was a shadow, skulking around the streets of Queens. A villain that pried for stolen goods, a burglar that was aware of his skill. Peter dreaded another run in with the mischievous silhouette, there was always an opportunity of escape for the sly male.
The city was beginning to recognise the footprints of this particular villain, they had yet to name him, but alike to Spiderman himself, his identity was truly unknown. They were both vigilantes, the only difference was that one of them sought to do things for good, and the other for a lack of reasoning.
If Peter was mistaken, heâd assume that this guy was in desperate need of money, however, that perception was indeed a mistake, There was nothing about the opponent that often he chased in spite of returning all that he stole, that screams that he was deprived of luxuries.
His skill was unmatched, and Peter was convinced that he must have endured some high strung training that aided him in getting away from all that wished to prosecute him. This ây/v/nâ, as he called himself, was remarkable with his swift tricks, and Peter knew that it would be close to impossible to string the villain up with his webs.
By his inability to do so, did not mean that he would give up on his heroic conquest. No, he would not, in fact, his consistency to whisk away from all conviction, albeit impressive, only made the Spiderling more infused and eager to entangle him, and leave him for the cops that tailed their long and enduring chases.
And yet again, y/v/n had struck; this time it was a priceless art museum, which was nothing different than the usual of his heists. All the heroâs intents were driven forward, and suppressed, all so that he could stop this mysterious guy, for once and for all.
âY/v/n, stop!â His high pitched voice hollered at the grey clothed thief, whose masked head whipped around to face the speaker. A frown was formed underneath his eye covering, running up his forehead like a crack in stonework. âThis is getting out of hand.!â
A wild smirk seeped onto y/v/nâs face, to which he shook his benevolent head at. âThatâs kinda the idea Spidey.â Was retorted back like a rugby ball in reply. Peter could only sigh at his reluctance to give up his poor career choice.
âOne day, someone will shoot you for stealing from them.â It was try, those that y/n/n was illegally taking from were powerful people in Queens. And it would be no surprise if this adept, yet expertly defined burglar, had his real face revealed by being dead on some luxurious porch, or overtop garden.
âOh no.â Y/v/n gasped, jokingly covering his mouth in faux shock. âItâs not like Iâve had the pleasure of being shot before.â His hand transferred its positioning down to his side, instinctively flinching at the obscene memory that still haunted him to this day.
âIf you stop, i can help you.â And he would, he entrusted himself in helping people get better, and saving people. Essentially, both of those could be considered having the same terms, and he would do everything in his power to make sure that y/v/n did not endure a shooting incident again.
However, an amused cackle sprung from his mouth, clearly in disbelief of everything that the neighbourhood web slinger was saying. âWhat are you, my therapist?â
âIâm going to have to fight you if you donât return what you stole.â Peter warned him, signing because it was not one of his desire to fight this offender. He couldnât be much older than him, if they were not of the same age, and that was one of the few reasons as to why he wanted to aid this victim that had somewhat turned. Into a small part villain.
âFinally!â A grin contorted y/v/nâs smirk/ âIâve been waiting for it all night.â He adjusted his hands, prepared to take whatever attempts that the less known avenger threw at him. As expected, the conjunction of webs were directed towards him first, and so, he rolled in the air, and out of the line of his fire.
Another attempt came towards him, to which he avoided easily. And as Peter tried continuously to hit him with his spider cage, y/v/n was successful in not getting caught in it. And so he moved fast, until he was directly behind the red and blue patriot.
With much ample force, y/v/n struck his back with the bottom of his feet, causing the spider to collapse against the gravel atop of the building, and roll so that he could watch the one that was well aware of all of his tricks, and made him physically crumble with little attempt.
That training was prominent now, and thus, y/v/n raised his hand, in a bidding of a goodby. âUntil next time parker.â He jumped fearlessly from the building, and when Peter went to look for a body, all he saw was nothing.
He was gone, but he wasnât just worried about that. Y/v/n knew the truth that he wore behind his mask, and if he was aware of his identity; who else was?

SUPER UNEDITED SO BE WARNED
MASTERLIST
Maybe (y/n) over reacted and maybe she shouldnât have ignored him for two days. It was childish but she had no idea how to react to Parkers news he had relayed over text. Â
Peter Parker had a girlfriend.Â
Maybe it was that his girlfriend wasnât her and she was now just a whole can of bottled up emotions that couldnât look at him without feeling sick and like her heart was about to fall out of her ass. So for two days every time Peter would pass her in the hallway, (y/n) would pretend to be on her phone, looking at her textbook or blatantly look the opposite direction.Â
Of course, that ended today when she left her phone on her bed for a shower and came out to find it gone with only a wide open window and a not in its place.
It read: âstop ignoring me or youâre never getting your phone back.â
In a split second (y/n)âs anger flared. How dare he?!
But then (y/n) had the nagging thought that maybe she deserved this after ignoring one of her best friends for two days without explanation. At least he had the luck to wait and see if she would come to him and if she didnât he would get her to.Â
Sighing, she put the one on the bed side table and lay down to go to sleep.Â
The next day, with her head hung low, (Y/n) walked into school. With no plan on how she could possibly relay or let him know how she was feeling without it being awkward or ruining the friendship, she made her way to his locker. Guess she was already half way to ruining it already by ignoring him.Â
Seeing him up ahead, (y/n) heartstrings tugged harshly. He was smiling at something Ned had said and with that one smile she felt at home. Taking a couple deep breaths, (y/n) knew she had to talk to him to get her phone eventually, so why not now?Â
As she approached however, the sweet girl, who was just as nerdy, geeky and as much a social outcast as Peter, approached him. She wasnât perfect either. She had slightly messy hair, as if she forgot to brush it or it naturally sat that way. She had a pimple or two that was slightly red with a couple scars alongside it. The girl also was comfortable in her jeans and a graphic t-shirt which probably had her favourite hero on it or some lame joke.Â
She was herself and (y/n) hated her more for it because in her own flaws, she was beautiful. She hated herself because she hated someone she didnât even know the name of. Â
Although (y/n) was fidgety and nervous too. (Y/N) sometimes mumbled when she talked and couldnât always look others in the eyes, especially if she found them attractive. She too had scars from acne and all her trips and falls. (Y/N) also thought of Spider-man, AKA her crush, every time she came close to a panic attack or felt sad.
(Y/N) had flaws too but she felt her greatest flaw was loving Peter Parker.Â
Watching from the sidelines, (y/n) saw how the girl smiled shyly at Peter as he told her she looked cute today.
(Y/N) walked away knowing that she could do without her phone for another day.Â
ââââââââ
Another eye-roll and sigh left her mouth as she watched the new couple laugh together on the bench a couple steps down from her, before turning back to tying her laces for gym. Today (y/n) was actually excited for basketball, she had a lot of pent up frustration to bring to the game and knowing Peter was in the opposite team made it all the better.Â
âAlright, who wants to be team captains?â Instantly (y/n)âs hand shot up and she was picked. The other team however, did not receive a single hand raise. The gym teacher had no choice but to pick someone.
âAlright, Melanie, youâre team 2âs captain.â The girl smiled awkwardly and raised to come down the bleachers and to the front. At that moment (y/n) realised that it was Peters girlfriend. Rolling her eyes again, (y/n) called her team her to make a plan before the game.Â
When the game was ready to start, (y/n) made her way to the centre, standing in front of Melanie with a scowl. The poor girl looked anywhere but in the eyes of (y/n) as she stood there with a strong stance and an air of dominance.Â
âShake hands.â (y/n) rolled her eyes and could see Peterâs confused face in the corner of her eye at her attitude. She was not normally a rude girl but today was just not her day. Melanie stepped forward instantly, holding out her hand with a small smile- finally looking (y/n) in the face.
When the teacher noticed (y/n) not moving, she was quick to question the normally polite girl.Â
âIs something wrong, (y/n)?â Grumbling, she didnât reply. Instead, (y/n) moved forward so quickly that Melanie jumped a little bit and others moved back slightly. (Y/N) put her hand in the kind girls hand for a split second, shaking it once before stepping back into position.Â
Awkwardly the teacher continued.
âEveryone knows the rules, so lets play. On the whistle.â Throwing the ball in the air, (y/n) moved with a similar speed to earlier. The pent up anger and frustration fuelling her body with a new kind of power she never knew she had. That and the three energy drinks she had at lunch.Â
Jumping and smacking the ball towards her teammate before moving forward to a better position, (y/n) watched as the guy simply passed it back to her. Earlier her team had noticed a fire in the girls eyes and had all subconsciously decided that this was her court and they werenât going to get in the way of it.Â
Moving swiftly, (y/n) rounded on the players and caught it easily before dribbling and running towards the hoop. As she ran, (y/n) could see the other team had also noticed her behaviour and didnât want to get in the way.
She stopped and took her shot, expecting it to land right in the basket. But of course, Peter was there to save his teams day. As he hit the ball away, landing perfectly, he turned towards her wit a cheeky smile and expected one in return. They were so close, was all (y/n) could think as she stared up at the brunette boy.Â
He looked down at her hopefully, as if expecting her to say her usual joke or witty comment. What he got was a face full of hair as she turned away to go back to her position.Â
They played on for another twenty minutes as (y/n) and Peter went back and forth spoiling each others shots, plans and any throw or catch within the game. The teacher becoming frustrated at some of the dirty plays they did throughout the game. At one point (y/n) pulled his hair slightly at the back and as he yelped, releasing the ball.Â
Another was Peter using some of his super agility and speed to cheat and (Y/n) was infuriated, she wanted to prove something to him but it was getting harder to do so. Maybe it was that she was fine without him- better even. Or was it that she wanted him to admit he needed her. Anything.Â
When (y/n)âs team got the ball again and were attempting to pass it to her the other team tried to block, including Parker; but that was his mistake. Seeing the back of his head try to stop her from proving her point blew a new kind of fuse for her, inciting her next actions. She knew it was childish and knew it would get her into trouble but time was running out, and if this was the only way for him to feel an ounce of her pain- she would take it.Â
Banking on Peters left was his girlfriend. His stupid, flawed, soft-smiled, dorky and cute girlfriend. Melanie. As the ball flew towards (y/n), she did not raise her hands to catch the ball but simply stomped on Peters foot and pushed him into Melanie. Not expecting the foul-play, Peter crashed full force into his girlfriend. A round of âoooâsâ floated around the class and some laughter as they watched him stumble to get up.Â
(Y/n) stared wide-eyes for a moment. Peter, meanwhile, furiously apologised to Melanie and was pulling her up from the floor. The coach blew the whistle.Â
â(y/n)! What the hell was that?!â Frozen in shock, (y/n) was asking herself the same question. Looking over to Peter and Melanie, she was laughing lightly while he checked her body for injuries before grabbing her hands and running his thumb over them. Her temper flared again.
He bumped into her! Itâs not like she was stabbed for gosh sakes!
Her eyes narrowed.Â
â(y/n), get off my court.â The teacher deadpanned when (y/n) didnât reply. Turning her scowl from the couple to her shoes, (y/n) walked briskly out of the gym. Slamming open the doors and walking quickly down the hall to get out. She didnât care about her stuff she just needed to leave.Â
Get out. Get out. Get out!
Footsteps carried from behind her but she didnât stop, not eve when se hard his voice.Â
â(y/n)!â The speaking of his sneakers somehow annoyed her further. (Y/N) kept walking and as she was about to round the corner, Peter grabbed her hand. Big mistake. Instantly, she turned around and grabbed his thumb, twisting it but forgetting he was a super altogether.Â
âIs that supposed to do something? I donât get it.â His confused face made her want to burst into tears, the frustration leaving her body.Â
âOh for fucks sake.â (y/n) whined beginning to walk away again, cursing at her own stupidity. Before she could turn away, Peter grabbed her arm gently and brought her back to him. It was too close for her liking and yet he didnât let her go. Two sides of her battled; run or stay close to him.Â
âWhy are you ignoring me?â It was a simple question but it had (y/n) staring at him with a fire in her eyes.Â
âPiss off Parker.â Flinching, he almost released her arm in shock of the tone but he was determined.Â
âNot until you tell me whats wrong (y/l/n). Youâre acting like a-a-â He stumbled, trying to find the right words.
âLike a what Parker?!â She snarled, putting her face closer to his, daring him to say it.Â
âThe holy grail of all assholes, (y/n)!â Peter growled, much to the dismay of (y/n).Â
âIs that all you want to say?! Well congrats, youâve succeeded in nothing than making me madder at you then I already am! We already knew you donât like me when Iâm mad!â
âOh you mean when your face goes all read and you start trying to hit me and I hold you back with one hand?â A moments silence occurred between them as she processed his words.Â
(Y/N) remembered the memory heâs referring to and couldnât help the little huff of laughter that left her lips.Â
âYouâre something else Parker.â She mumbled, pulling away from him to get some distance but not running away.Â
âI know, I stick to walls remember? Canât exactly be ordinary with that.â He let out a small laugh as she snorted. Peter leaned on the lockers next to him and looked down at (y/n) softly.
âWill you tell me whats wrong now?â He folded his arms, making them bulge slightly. (Y/N) pulled her eyes from the distraction before meeting his chocolate eyes. A split second of weakness was all it took for (y/n) to show him what was wrong.Â
One look into the eyes of the guy sheâd fallen for and she was here. Finally! Her mind screamed. Heâd finally asked and in her moment of weakness with those puppy eyes looking at her- she showed him.Â
Leaning up on her toes, her hand reached up to rest on the back of this head and between his slight curls and finally, (y/n) kissed him. As her lips met his, se heard the slight hum in shock. (Y/N) froze and didnât move away. Leaning away slightly but remaining close, Peter looked at her with a shocked face.Â
âDonât look at me like that.â She huffed, now giving distance and staring at the ground.
âL-l-like w-what?â He stumbled, trying to play it cool and trying to go back to leaning on the lockers. His hands fidgeted as he tried to reason in his mind about his best friend kissing him.Â
âLike you pity me Parker, I donât need it.â (Y/n) sighed, looking anywhere but him. That seemed to calm his nerves, knowing he shouldnât be worried about himself but rather the friend in front of him who was struggling. Peter was a good friend before anything else, that was for sure.
â(y/n), I donât pity you⌠at all. I just didnât know you felt that way. About me, I mean. A-and now I know.â Slowly her eyes moved to meet his soft gaze and suddenly she felt better. He held no judgement and his eyes gave nothing but care and gentleness.Â
âNow you know.â She whispered as they both stepped a little closer together, like magnets. Their eyes watched and analysed the other. She was used to seeing him in this light however, seeing (y/n) in a new romantic sense was very new to Peter and he didnât know how to feel. He was confused.Â
The moment ended when Peter stepped back slightly and away from (y/n).Â
â(Y/N), iâm glad I know but I canât return those feelings. I-iâm with Melanie and maybe if it was earlier, then maybe but this is now a-and I really like this girl (y/n). I really hope you can understand but-â Peter was cut off when a soft hand cradled his cheek.Â
All this time, he hadnât been the asshole. It was her. They were friends first and it wasnât his fault he didnât feel that way with her, she couldnât force him to. If she had only told him earlier. With a soft smile, completely opposite to the girl from an hour ago, (y/n) looked up at him.
âPeter it-its okay. I actually owe you an apology.â All of a sudden, Peters tongue was stuck to the roof of his mouth. Indeed, this was a new light for him.Â
âYouâre a good friend Peter and Iâm sorry for the last couple of days- you didnât deserve it. Youâre also right about me being uh, what did you call it? The holy grail of all assholes, was it?â She slightly laughed. Yet he wasnât laughing. Something felt wrong.
âIâm glad you found a girl who makes you happy though. Iâm sorry I didnât put our friendship first, its not fair on you.â Dropping her hand from his cheek, she smiled slightly.Â
âBut can I please have my phone back? I nearly died without it.â Breaking his trance, Peter laughed and pulled her phone from his pocket and lay it in her outstretched hand. Fingers brushing, Peterâs ears tinged red. (Y/N) however failed to notice and focussed on her long lost (stolen) phone.
âThanks and uh- thanks again for understanding. I-i promise no more surprise kisses or ignoring you for days. Just give me today and iâll be back to normal (y/n) by tomorrow.â Her smile was fake but radiant all the same, leaving Peter all but more confused.Â
âI-uh, yeah. Sure. I guess Iâll see you tomorrow?â Peter looked down at his shoes, not trusting himself to look at her with his even more confused mind. A thumb and index finger however brought his chin up to look at her.
âI really am sorry, you know?â (y/n) said quietly before turning and walking away towards the gym locker room.Â
âI know, I am tooâ He emptily whispered with tingling lips to a bare hallway.Â

âNo, donât put that there!â Your mother yelled at you as you walked into your new apartment with a box of your items. You rolled your eyes and set it down where you were told to. Your father came in after you, carrying more boxes. You and you family were making quite the ruckus with shouting at each other and dropping boxes. As you were walking up down your hallway with more boxes the apartment door next door to yours slightly opened. Your mother and father were both walking out of the apartment to get the rest of your items, so you ignored whoever was looking at you through their cracked door, and set the boxes aside.
You sighed, sitting down on the  floor. You were already tired from the trip to New York, and having to carry everything upstairs and into the apartment. You hadnât even begun to unpack anything, and you still had to do shopping for more materials.
Getting up, you walked out of your apartment and saw that your parents were talking to someone in the hallway. Out of curiosity you took a closer look only to see that they were talking to a woman in her mid thirties. Along side her was a boy, maybe about fifteen sixteen years old. Just about your age.
âIâm sure Peter would be happy to help you guys unpack your boxes, wonât you Petey?â The woman asked, looking over her shoulder and at the boy who stood nervously on the side lines. His eyes landed on you, preventing him from saying anything. His pupils widened as he looked between you and your parents. âPeter?â The woman said again.
The boyâs head snapped in the direction of the woman calling his name. âY-yeah, sure. Iâd be happy to help.â He stuttered out. You couldnât help but giggle at how nervous he was. Your parents walked past you, with the boy following close behind in their steps. You walked in after him, shutting the apartment door as you entered.
Your parents let you take your boxes to your room, having Peter help carry some of them. To your surprise, he was a lot stronger than he looked. Peter set them down next to one of the walls, and sighed. You didnât necessarily want to talk, so you just started to unbox your things and put them were you wanted. The boy stood their awkwardly, hands in his pockets as he looked around your room.
âSo, um.. where did you guys move from?â He asked, attempting at small talk.
âW/Y/F.â You said, not looking up at him. Your eyes were glued to the items in your box of things on the floor. Peter nodded, rocking back on his heels as he continued to look around the empty room.
You started to empty out the boxes that surrounded your room, catching Peterâs attention. He watched as sketch book after sketch book came out of the box. Some loose papers came out, and Peter bent down to help her collect them. As he picked up the papers, he saw a uncompleted sketch of the hero of New York- Spider-Man. His lips curled into a soft smile and he looked at you.
âYou- you like Spider-Man?â He asked nervously. Your head jerked up and you realized that he was holding one of the sketches you had discarded during the trip to your new apartment.
You shrugged and set the drawings and loose papers to the side. âI guess, my friends are the ones who really like him.â Peterâs heart kind of fell at that. âBut I like how he is trying his hardest.â Peter smiled again, his heart started to beat faster.
He barely knew his new neighbors, but he knew he was falling hard for you.

âAlright, you two behave and no messing around!â Aunt May semi-yelled as she gathered her things in her purse as she was getting ready to go out for the night with some of her friends. Her nephew Peter and his best friend (whom he has been harboring a crush on since forever), sat on the couch watching Star Wars.
âDonât worry May, Iâll make sure to keep him out of trouble.â Y/N said, smirking at Peter as she looked over her shoulder and at his aunt. She chuckled softly, saying goodbye to the two teenagers and then left the apartment. Peter punched her softly as pay back for teasing him. She acted hurt, pretending to cry and holding her arm as if she had just been stabbed. Peter just laughed at her which caused Y/N to laugh as well.
The two watched Star Wars for what felt like all night, but Y/N fell asleep before the second episode was even over. Peter smiled softly as he looked at the way her hair was sprawled out across her neck and shoulders. How her eyes would flutter every so often. And how her chest would rise and fall softly with each soft breathe she took in and then let out. He loved Y/N, and obviously it was as more of a friend.
Shutting off the television and cleaning up the main living area, Peter put a blanket over his crush before heading of to his own room to go to sleep. Peter wanted to admit his feelings to Y/N so bad, but he was scared that Y/N wouldnât feel the same way that he did about her.
With a soft sigh Peter shut off his lamp and drifted off to sleep, his heart aching for Y/N to be laying beside him that night.
Not only two hours later did Y/N wake up in a cold sweat with tears running down her face. She had just woken up from a terrible nightmare, one she hoped to never talk about ever again. Her breathing was ragged as she attempted to calm herself down enough to get up from the couch. When her breathing was normal again she stood up shaky legs, stumbling slightly as she padded down towards Peterâs bedroom.
Peter was the only person Y/N wanted to go to when she was this scared, whether it was because of a life threatening situation, or even because she had a bad dream. He was always the person Y/N wanted to go to first.
Slowly opening his door she carefully stepped onto the hardwood. âPeter.â She whispered. âPeter.â Y/N said a bit louder. This time the boy turned over onto his other side and opened his eyes slowly, his brown orbs landing on Y/N.
âY/N/N? What is it?â He asked groggily. Y/N automatically felt bad for waking him and she started to back away.
âS-sorry, I just, I needed someone to talk to and-â Y/Nâs voice trembled slightly as vivid images from her dream came back into play.
Peter sat up quickly, figuring out that his best friend was in need of someone right now. âNo noâitâs alright, come here.â He said, moving over just enough to where Y/N would have some space on his bed. Y/N moved quickly, landing on Peterâs bed with a hard thump before she scooted closer to Peter. He was shocked at first by her actions, but relaxed and let her fall into his side before he laid back down on his bed with her curled up next to him.
âI had a dream that I lost you.â Y/N mumbled into Peterâs shirt. âI dreamt that you died fighting those people out there, and you never came back to me. I- It felt so real, I actually believed it was true... and then I woke up.. Iâ Y/N took in a deep breathe. âPlease donât leave me Peter.â Y/N looked up at the boy who was currently looking down at her. Her Y/E/C eyes starred up at him intensely, but they were full of such fear and sadness that Peter thought he might start to cry just by looking at her fragile state.
âYouâll never lose me, I promise.â Peter said softly. He kissed Y/Nâs head, rubbing her back and her arms softly. Peter felt Y/N shift underneath him, making his eyes glance down at her. One their eyes met she quickly pulled herself up to meet his level and placed her lips on his. Peterâs eyes widened at the act, and he didnât know what to do so he stayed frozen in his spot.
When Y/N pulled away her eyes were searching for anything in Peterâs eyes. When he didnât kiss her back she thought she did something wrong and would ruin any chance she had of being with Peter. He noticed just how upset and scared she was. In the back of his mind though he kept playing around with the fact that Y/N had only kissed him to calm herself down, to tell herself that he was till there. But another part of him wondered if she actually liked him the way he did with her.
Y/N began to pull herself away from Peter, her eyes filling with salty tears quickly. âSorry, I shouldnât have-â Y/n was cut off by Peter pulling her next to him once again and crushing her lips with his. Y/N couldnât help but smile at the sensation of his lips on hers and actually kissing her back. The two stayed connected in this way for a few moments longer before they both needed to pull away for air.
Peter smiled down at Y/N, his eyes gleaming in the dim light. Y/N had laid herself back down next to Peter, who wrapped his arms around her body, somehow seeming to pull her closer than she was before.
The two teens laid down on Peterâs bed in silence, holding each other, giving each other small kisses just because they wanted to. As Y/Nâs eyes started shut again, Peter spoke softly.
âI know Iâve kissed you like, ten times, but just like another ten, please.â Y/N chuckled softly, kissing Peter again and again until, eventually they both fell sleep in each others arms.
