African Fashion International was proud to show its support to superstar-designer Spero Villioti and the graduates of the Spero Villioti Elite Design Academy. 

The show, entitled FUTURE FASHION LEADERS, showcased the graduate collections of the third years. The students also raised R200 000 for The Couture Educational, which enables underprivileged students to study fashion. 

The Spring/Summer season brings with them the vibrancy and colour of flowers in bloom and nature coming back to life. They are also the seasons of children playing in the street and outdoor fun, as South Africans too 'come back to life' in the African sun. 

With all the colour and sounds around, sometimes it is easier to keep cool and collected with your wardrobe. Designers at this year's Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Cape Town show you how to achieve that head-to-toe white look, whether it's to business, the beach or the ballroom.

One of our favourite shows featured this trend, from start to finish. David Tlale's 'pop-up' presentation in the Bo-Kaap, featured crisp, feminine looks, accented by colour-ombre leggings. For the full collection, click here.
