This is why destructive criticism shouldn't be taken at face value
There's always seems to be some people who disagree with what I'm doing. In fact, there was this one person who claimed that I was, and I quote, bringing "okami to the present in a horrible way" by stating that some of the Ōkami bloodline accidentally inspired furry fandom. Not only that, but then he verbally attacked me over the status of SPERB.
In response to him, I say this: First, this is currently set on a world which is different than ours, so therefore things would be different. Second, while I understand that fact of them inspiring the furry fandom might seem to be a mis-step, but remember that it was an accident - they never intended to inspire anything, but the humans who saw them blew up the stories about when they saw them, and the rest is history. Thirdly, while I still like SPERB, I wouldn't want to wipe it out because, even though I made a few mis-steps during it, I was learning how to write a Forum Adventure. And it is perfectly possible to have more than one project going at the same time, just as long as you give enough time to each of them. And, last but not least, next time you have destructive criticism, keep it to yourself. It makes you look bad in the eyes of those who like it. Constructive criticism is OK, but not destructive criticism.
