Hey, @speendlex!! My OC, Robin Weatherbee has been captured, assimilated and mutated by Black Arms, too!

As he laid still on the ground, struggling to breathe, convulsing, bleeding, a gaping hold in his alien-like chest exposing bone, tissue and his scorched and severed internals, Sonic's memories suddenly came back to him as he was slowly dying. He remembered his past heroic deeds, the friends he made along the way and everything else that had happened before he was abducted and assimilated by Black Arms. Sonic knew that the end was here. He knew that it was impossible to return to his normal self. He knew that it was impossible to get his old body back. He knew that after he had suffered that fatal shot blow to the chest that it was impossible to heal himself. His decision to resist and turn against Black Arms cost him dearly. Black Arms was no more...but so was Sonic. In his final moments, his mind and memories turned to his friends...that he may never see nor return to ever again. With his last breath, Sonic closed his eyes, opened up his alien jaws super-wide and let out one more ear-piercing alien screech that echoed out into the night that slowly got weaker and quieter as his life slowly faded away. Bright white light...voices...approaching shadows from far away...it felt like a dream. Slowly but surely, Sonic could make out what the shadows were as he saw them slowly approaching him. They were of his friends. As they got closer, the voices started becoming more clearer. " Sonic...wake up... " When he woke up to the sound of electronic beeping, he was surprised to find himself in a brightly-lit hospital room. He was wearing an oxygen mask on his face and was lying down on a hospital bed. But what surprised him the most was...he had became his former self again. He was his normal size and height, his eyes were his usual green on white with black pupils and the Black Arms alien skin had cracked, peeled and flaked off Not only did the doctors fix the gaping hole in his chest and gave him replacement organs to replace the one that had been scorched, they had also managed to acquire a vial of Sonic's blood containing his own DNA prior to his assimilation by the hands of Black Arms. Together with some Black Arms DNA-negating pathogens, they managed to create a vaccine that reversed Black Arms assimilation/mutation process, thus restoring Sonic back to his good old, former self again. They did the same with his friend, Knuckles along with several others who were also assimilated by Black Arms. Amy, Tails and Cream were all in joy to see both Sonic and Knuckles alive and back in his normal self again. --- Ending Two: Back To Normal  --- Black Doom was no more. The invasion of Earth had come to a explosive end. Thanks to the efforts of G.U.N, the Earth Defense Force and the Babylon Rogues, Black Arms was finally decimated once and for all. The alien race had finally went extinct. Black Doom's influence had weakened overtime. And those who had been assimilated and mutated by Black Arms had slowly returned to their former selves. Miles " Tails " Prower was alone with his friend, Sonic The Hedgehog who had been captured and assimilated by Black Arms. He thought he had lost his friend for good. But once Black Doom's influence began to weaken and Sonic had suddenly regained his consciousness, mercy had won out. He had begged G.U.N to spare his life. Together, they managed to bring down the Black Arms race. Sonic felt saddened about what Black Arms turned him into. Tails felt the same way. But he could tell that he was slowly reverting back to his normal self. His golden yellow alien eyes reverted back to his normal green irises on white scolera with black pupils when he regained consciousness. Furthermore, he, Knuckles and some others who had also been assimilated by Black Arms had received a vaccine containing alien DNA-negating pathogens to help with the reversal process. Once the Black Arms alien skin had started to crack, peel and flake off, both Sonic and Tails knew all had returned to normal. Both shared a hug together and left to rejoin their friends. The Black Verge was no more.
