I am really sad because I just found out that Dish replaced the Speed Channel with Fox Sports 1 and like myself and my family are actually pretty big fans of motorsports like WHY WOULD THEY TAKE OFF THAT CHANNEL
seriously like don't they have enough channels that show coverage of football/baseball?! If anything they should've taken off the fucking golf channel. I mean, really, do people even watch that channel?!

One of the most influential people in my life was my Grandpa. He was a badass among badasses. He punched a gun wielding Ernest Hemmingway in face and stole his girl. Nine months later my mom was born. forty-five years later I would go to his house on the weekends after his second divorce and watch Speedvision with him. One of my favorite shows was Legends of Motorsports. A show featuring other badass men driving badass machines just like my grandpa.

So SPEED TV lost the US F1 rights from after 2012.
And apparently SPEED TV will become a stick and ball channel. I worked for SpeedTV .com for 5 or 6 years from home in Detroit. I saw it all, Schumacher dominance, the Indy Michelin farce, Alonso's championships, his feud with Lewis at Macca. I haven't been around there for a few years, but I'll miss seeing the team, hopefully Varsha is allowed to move to NBC, he is contracted to FOX though. I do know that Hobbs and Machette are not. Pretty sure Will Buxton is a newscorp employee. I guess no more Christmas presents from Charlotte any more. Good times, you'll be missed SPEED Channel/ Speedvision.
