Having someone who's speeding a lot pass me and then get stuck behind another slow driver is divine punishment
“Going 20, Speeder Declares,” Border Cities Star. October 18, 1932. Page 9. ---- Traveling, 45, Officer Claims; Visitors Are Freed ---- LEROY WARFIELD, of Crosby street, Akron, Ohio, was freed on a speeding charge in East Windsor police court today. Riverside police charged that on Saturday he had traveled along Riverside Drive, in Riverside, at the rate of 45 miles per hour.
Mr. and Mrs. Warfield took the stand and testified that they had not exceeded the speed limit. They were traveling between 19 and 20 miles per hour, they swore. Their statements were supported by the evidence of Mrs. Eli Labute. of Tecumseh, who was a passenger in their car.
“This is a very unusual case,” remarked Magistrate Smith, continuing, "it's hard to understand why an officer would stop a motorist going at 19 or 20 miles per hour. It just isn’t done. While the speed limit is 20 miles an hour, strictly speaking, the police here do not stop motorists unless they travel considerably in excess of that speed.”
Summing up the case, the magistrate pointed out that there was a big spread between the speed estimate of the Warfields and that of the traffic officer.
"There Is a big question mark In this case, the magistrate concluded, and in a core like this, the benefit of the doubt has to go to the defendant. The charge is dismissed.”
“Her Sarcasm Cost Her $10,” Border Cities Star. October 28, 1932. Page 22. ---- GROSSE POINT LASS --- Of Course, She Was Speeding Too, Court Told --- ‘I wasn’t going very fast,’ declared 'Shirley Hunter, of Grosse Point, when she appeared In East Windsor police court today on a speeding charge.
‘Only 45 miles an hour,’ Traffic Constable Rivers told Magistrate Smith.
‘But I didn’t think I was fast,’ protested the accused.
‘She wasn't driving very straight," Constable Rivers continued, to the Magistrate.
‘I wasn't zigzagging, or anything like that.’ Shirley continued.
‘She was very sarcastic,' concluded Constable Rivers.
The fine was $5 plus $5 costs.
Harry Raden, of 24 Riverside Drive. Tecumseh, pleaded that he did not know he was exceeding the speed limit. He pointed out that he had spent a pleasant summer in this district and was just leaving. He didn't want to carry a bad Impression of the district, he said.
The court ordered a fine of $1 plus $5 costs.
Fred Watt, of Prado Place, Riverside, didn't think he was doing any more than 30. The officer said it was 40 miles per hour. Mr. Watt got off with a $1 fine, plus $5 costs, too.
Jackson Mark, of Detroit, was fined $10 plus $5 costs for reckless driving. Two Detroiters. James Kittler and Edward Richard Grant, paid $5 plus $5 each for speeding. William Adams, of Toronto, also contributed $5 plus $5, so did H. G. Huffman, of 205 Bruce avenue.

I wish there was a way to sort categories on Wookieepedia by era. I'm looking through the long lists of landspeeders and speeder bikes and so many of them are from the Old Republic.
And yes, I am The Kind of Person who needs to know the model of the speeder in the thing I'm writing, even though it might not come up. 8|
Speeder Trip-Part 1
On Friday, May 21, 2021, I served as the pilot for a private speeder trip over the Conway Scenic Railroad. The speeders were largely from a Pennsylvania-based group that consisted largely of various privately owned Fairmont cars. I traveled in the lead car and made photographs of the trip as it progressed westward over Crawford Notch. This first batch features Conway Scenic’s Redstone Branch…

So its been a while since I talked about the SWG vehicles. all there is to say on the matter is that they're mostly done and tested. But if there is one thing I want to do (that I don’t know how to do) and that is is add a new FX bones to give the vehicles flames that come out of the thrusters. I cant think of anything that looks close to what i want though. Either way i’m willing to upload these without those thrusters then add that in the future.
