How dare she disturb her magical light box productions, the gall of this child. Jack was out buying groceries so why-- she raised an eyebrow at the girl, towering over her silently.
[Stepping aside and pulling a notepad from the pocket of her elegant robes she writes a quick note, almost shoving it in the girl’s poor face.] Are you Jack’s betrothed? [Why else would she be here?]
Flinches as the note is nearly pressed to her face. She reads over it slowly, having to squint at the paper a bit to read what was written "Are you Jack's betrothed?" A guilty blush overcame her, "W-what? No, it's not like that. We're just friends! "
Bitterly, she glanced up at this strange woman, an uncomfortable feeling in her throat, "Why would you ask something like that? Has Jack mentioned me?"
