I wanna talk about specialists more and am coming to realize that aspects of oms are the opposite side and response to concepts from nise, I’ve never been the biggest into nise (as I’m not one who’s big into the fanservice, even though the other parts of the story are heartfelt and interesting it doesn’t strike a good balance for me always) however by considering later parts of the story it creates more implicit context that creates brainworms that are the kind of thing that gets you pacing around the room.
Like what do you mean that those previous snake charms were from uroko, what does it mean for kaiki to sell those charms in a broken state. If those charms are the real thing made fake then nadeko made the fake into the real thing. How does it feel to Gaen to see the rainy devil, or her sister’s daughter with the rainy devil. As a Gaen how does it feel to see someone escape that system of being a Gaen. Tooe passed that generational trauma to Suruga in that rainy devil hand but she didn’t really form an oddity similar to what that would be, not on her own at least, Araragi inherited that and made Ougi who isn’t even spiteful to her. She does have access to trauma ghosts but idk if that’s a full oddity thing. Did Nadeko indirectly get the Gaen family ability of manifestation via similar combos of mental illness and exposure to similar manifested curses? Nadeko the first one this generation to weaponize that power with generally lesser consequence.

How did Kaiki survive the plane crash, did the end of koimono happen and he just got out there with a similar method? Everybody got curses from making a kid together (yotsugi). Kaiki and Meme are described as softer on kids than Kagenui or Gaen, untapped market of kid hating.
Much to think on much to consider
Kagenui is also enriched but the Gaen and kaiki narratives are like abysses you peak into
