Josh should apologize, and there is genuinely no way that he won’t at this point, but why the fuck are people insulting him, calling him names, and twisting this narrative that he is ACTIVELY watching his twitter feed and just sitting there with a smile on his face and ignoring it all? In what world do you guys live in to believe after every single interview, fan interaction, and the stories that their friends and family have told about the boys being absolute sweethearts, that Josh must be evil, he is actively, purposefully, intentionally ignoring and “not giving a fuck about fans.” Y’all dont think thats crazy? To switch up in 3 days that hard?? Like suddenly Josh isn’t human anymore, suddenly they don’t have lives outside of social media and outside of their phones? “Well he was active on instagram!!!” Do you legitimately think that celebrities keep their notifications on? And actually CHECK THEM? You think he (the man who despises phones) just sits there scrolling through his comments? Lmfao come the fuck on. You guys are ignoring all fact, to twist a false narrative. We have NO IDEA what is going on behind the scenes, we have no actual idea that Josh runs his instagram, but fans have just completely assumed that he does, just to try and make a point, as if it would mean something different if he DID run it. As soon as the GVF twitter posted the pics of Jake, all of the quotes and comments were “are you absolutely fucking kidding me? woooooow” and people were automatically saying that GVF personally runs their twitter (lmfao like yeah okay.) Is that not ridiculous????? That people are harassing their girlfriends, their friends, THEIR MUTUAL FOLLOWERS? their photographer??? I keep seeing all these white twitter fans saying “well we only started something now bc we had no idea that it was offensive!” well why is it okay that YOU didn’t know? But when Josh didn’t know, it was wooooow guys he was an adult by then, he definitely knew!! Why can’t we extend that humanity and kindness to the boys? It’s ridiculous. I will not be surprised if they never want to interact with us again after this, it is not activism “out of love” if you are actively cussing the band out, and saying “fuck greta van fleet.” This fandom has put them through hell, leaking Karens address, leaking Ronnies place of work and her full government name, threatening to set their house on fire, leaking Jakes address along with pics of the inside of his house, and constantly needing to be coddled. Remember how you guys acted when Josh apologizes, because at the end of the day he never meant to hurt anyone, and you guys all fucking know that.

Y’all are attacking people now, ones that don’t have anything to do with the situation. This is between Josh and indigenous fans that have been hurt by his past actions. This is NOT a fight of power or giving anyone the right to harass people, you’re now drowning out the voices of those who are trying to be heard by this amount of negativity.

Wow. The amount of mutuals I’ve seen getting shut down in their asks for bringing awareness to this situation is actually sad and baffling. This is not an attack, nor is it a cancelation. That’s silly. What this is, is taking accountability. That’s all. All they are asking is for Josh to acknowledge what is wrong with those photos, and take them down. I am not Indigenous, but I am a POC (Person of Color). I hope that something is done about this. I also hope that, not only Josh, but everyone learns something from this. Let’s be better.

Again, I am standing up for my culture. I do not feel ashamed by using my voice. It is extremely offensive when we see our culture being worn. Delete and Address, be the change, you can do better.
