People be writing characters who run away and end up becoming major characters, and that’s definitely happened to me, but I have a real problem with creating characters I really like and being like “have more plot significance darn it! What’s the point in making you funny if you’re only going to appear half as much as I intended you to?”
I’ve settled on it. Sparsuna is a weremonitor.

Some little known facts from Scalba of the Talanari:
1. Sparsuna once stole Sarco’s dragon and promptly lost it. Sarco got it back eventually, but Scalba’s never let either of them live it down-- Sparsuna because he likes to tease him and Sarco because he wants to rub it in his smug face.
2. Seed-cats are monogender and use “they/them” pronouns. Seed-men are technically monogender as well, but because they have the appearance of human males, they use “he/him.” Both races are asexual due to their methods of reproduction. However, seed-men can feel romantic attraction, unlike seed-cats.
3. There’s a region in the waters between Calmorian and Gentathine that is perpetually hailing. The stones are the size of basketballs and many dragons get knocked out of the air and drown in the churning waves below.
4. Some boots of Talanari make are enchanted to give the wearer the ability to fly short distances at a jump.
5. The starknights encrust their swords with a precious stone called an andor stone that makes their blade sharper and more durable. According to legend, an andor sword can shatter mundane swords with sufficient force. However, the power is nullified if the stone is pried from the hilt.

Ok so the funny thing is I literally just came up with the idea of Sparsuna having a pet snake today for an ask
Sparsuna sketches. Once I learn how to draw bodies that don’t look wack I’ll get to show you his awesome cape-vest. (See brief attempt in second image.)
How do I do bodies help
Ah, well. I make it a point not to hold it against my friends when they kill my other friends.
