anyways regarding your question, honestly, i go through that a lot;;; sometimes i just let it sit there in my documents and work on other things, because the inspiration usually does return eventually!! it’s better to write when you’re inspired anyways, but sometimes, i guess i kind of just push through? sitting down and immersing myself into writing usually gets me in the zone and i won’t be able to do anything until i finish the fic LOL so maybe that’ll work for you? :o

it’s completely fine to write whatever and wherever you want, girl!!! if you’re more motivated and inspired to write for stray kids, then write for them! you do you!! restricting yourself to one group will only worsen your desire to write - it might even impact the quality of your writing.
i feel like fandom writers are always plagued with guilt just because they want to write for another fandom, but hey, it’s your time and your inspiration, so why not write what you want to write?
