@sparkleslightlyy Thank you, and thanks for the ask! I did a version of this earlier with Roger, Freddie and Brian. Let’s see how taking Brian away (sob!) and adding John changes things. Hmmm:

go on a six hour road trip with (no car radio, you choose who drives): I picked Roger in my original response, but @iwilltrytobereasonable helpfully pointed out that he would probably spend the entire six hours bugging me so much that I’d finally let him drive. This is probably correct. So! John it is. He seems to have the kind of calm personality you’d want with you on a six-hour trip in a confined space. EVEN BETTER, he says he can’t sing? I love to sing but sadly, I’m not good at it. He could play the guitar while I drove, and and we could sing badly together. That would be fun.

sit next to on a six hour plane flight: Freddie was my original choice for the plane ride, and...I think I’m gonna stick with that. I’m a nervous flier and he may have been as well? In which case, we’d rely on each other to keep ourselves entertained with games of Death Scrabble. Death Scrabble, gossip, and mini bottles of champagne. 

sit across from on a six hour train journey: That leaves Roger for the train, and that would be fine with me. We would spend it talking and looking out of the windows, watching the countryside go by. We’d read quietly together for a bit, perhaps reading each other bits of whatever book or article had caught our interest. He’d also have a guitar with him, and we’d pass the time with him trying to show me how he approaches songwriting. I would love that.
