Captured orion today!! Its super faint but its still there!
Into the unknown
Sometime I lay on my trampoline and look through the circular nets and see a great wide somewhere. Trying to find constellations, how pirates found their way back home, how locked up princesses in their tower looked at the very same sky as I, longing for something.
Amidst of all this isolations, its really helped me focus on the little things and to try and find magic in the little things.
Side note: Does anyone else see the illuminati symbol in the sky? I am not too sure if that is a good or bad omen. Pretty sure the latter. Not to worry, I will update when I find a brighter cloud on this dreary night.
One thing I am grateful for is my father. Despite adamantly refusing to go on this boating trip, screaming excuses of homework, seasickness and boredom, he still managed to force me to come.
Indignant at the forced outing, I brooded at the long trip to the sea, refusing to participate in my family’s banter. Looking back, I really just made it harder on myself. Nobody really cared if i had mountains of work piled up or that I didn’t really want to be on this trip at all! Had I joined in and truly enjoyed this rare break from work, I would be able to appreciate how nice the day really was.
However, only at sunset did I savor at the salty air, the whipping wind and the glittering sea. It was splendid, imagining scenes of mermaids and pirates on the shoreline, pretending I was in a scene in Moana.
As we were packing up, I looked to my Dad desperately trying to force a simply courteous “thank you” but somehow the words don’t come out. Be it the timing, or just my own pride I never got to tell my Dad my appreciation to him and how he always put my wellbeing above it all, even if I myself didn’t even know.
So here I am saying thank you Dad.
Thanks for always being the best!
