He is content having something to look forward to and that is such a good thing to show kids in an era of overachievers and endless competition. That that's just it, you can move one step at a time and it's not wrong to want that, some things in life will come to you in time, some of the best things in life will come to you on their own even, as long as you keep your eyes open to wonder
I didn’t notice before but from Ladybug getting a teapot during Oblivio we got the info that:
-The lucky charm doesn't compensate for handicaps or changes in the status quo (it just assumed Marinette still knew about master Fu and gave her something tea related, it was probably meant as "find a way to finish your talk with Fu") Marinette found a use for the teapot but she could have picked a random nonmagical trashcan to use the same way imo
-Tikki has no influence over her own power, a Tikki with no memories of the rules would have tried to help as much as possible, the fact that she didn't give her something practical is because she doesn't have that hability

The lovers that know each other identities:
-Alya got compromised by covering Nino when he was capable of protecting himself (Chat usually does this but it’s almost always pointless sacrifice like getting in the way of the attack instead of pushing the attacker to the side, Ladybug always finds a way to stay safe and help Chat because her judgement isn’t clouded by feelings)
-Nino got compromised because he was more focused on Alya’s loss than the mission
-Not to mention that any mind controlling akuma could get the identity of the partner
The hero whose identity is known by everyone:
-Chloe’s whole family got akumatized effectively getting her compromised
-She can never have her miraculous permanently ‘cuz Hawkmoth would target her while she’s defenseless like asleep or in the bathroom
Oblivio was not a mind control akuma but Ladybug kept her partner away from the fray because she wanted him to stay safe, almost said “Adrien” out loud when he was in danger and Chat Noir almost called her “Marinette” while they were just having a conversation. It was a dangerous situation and a slip of the tongue could have done a lot against them
