Sorry this we as too long for the comment! The doctor said the rash is a common sign something wrong. Brayden was diagnosed with Tonsillitis but he was acting perfectly fine other than being grouchy. No fever nothing. It's been almost 2 weeks and the rash has faded a lot but he still has it especially on his stomach and sides.
I just got back from the ER. I just felt I had to since she also complained about back ache, and the doctor told me more or less what you wrote.Ā
They said her throat was pretty sore and red, and that the rash was due to a cold virus or something. I didnāt really pay much attention, but he said that he had seen quite a few of these cases today. She sure has been a bit grumpy lately, and she lack appetite. But apart from that she has been fine. She was jumping around entertaining everyone that cared to listen at the hospital. Chatted up every nurse and doctor that she passed in the hallway as we waited to be seen, and she was ecstatic when she got to go in one of them āhospital carsā that staff can drive around in to get from one location to the next. She fell asleep in the car on our way back home, but woke up as we got inside. So she is currently watching a movie on the IPad in my bedā¦. I have put something that we call āwhite washā on the rash just to cool it down and prevent it from itching. So fingers crossed she will settle down and catch a few hours sleep.
Leah is at my mumās as I couldnāt be asked to take them both to the hospital since it was 19:30 by the time we departed. She was fast asleep as we got backā¦so we will pick her up tomorrow after breakfast.Ā
I hope it passed quickly, but if your son has had the rash in two weeksā¦I guess that it will take the time it needs to heal. But as long as she isnāt rough I guess we can all enjoy Christmas.
Thanks a lot for your answer though, and you were dead right!
I hope you guys have a fab Christmas.Ā
Hugs
