The visualisation of General Relativity, Spacetime curvature, is a bit difficult because it contradicts 3 things: Our sensibility and senses, sight, and logic to a certain extent.
I have explained and illustrated the first step towards building a visual understanding of Albert Einstein's Theory of General Relativity in the picture.
1. Senses: We are falling down in Spacetime curvature. However our senses tell us, we are standing still firmly on earth. When we jump we land back down because of our weight not some invisible curve in an invisible space fabric.
2. Sight: Earth is flat! It's what I see.
3. Earth is round but the galaxy is flat like a disc. Huh?
