This stunning composite image of the Cat’s Paw Nebula (NGC 6334) combines powerful infrared vision from the James Webb Space Telescope with X-ray data from Chandra (shown in striking pinkish-purple).At the heart of the nebula lies a chaotic nursery of brand-new stars — many just a million years old. You can see them as a mottled pink patch, still half-hidden behind thick, overlapping layers of dark orange cosmic dust and gas.
