So many ways to play with an idea. I’m creating my mixed media resin angels for the Paintings for Peace Exhibition next month. I do love the flow and ethereal feeling of the resin as it settles. The lack of control and desire to trust whatever happens is central to this intuitive process. Let go and let it settle into its form. We all get so focused on controlling the outcome that we can lose the beauty in these wavi saving moments of creation. Today has been an amazing day! Last minute touch ups as inspiration inspires the next step. Developed three pieces in the morning and finalised all hanging details. This arvo was hanging the show.32 angels ranging from small to large. Actually wish I had a few more larger pieces. Seeing them all on display at Decoy Cafe in Melbourne is so exciting. Richmond Library began the learning and then I stepped into Breathe at #Space2bartspace. Now it is a cafe space and each exhibition is teaching me so much.
