Controversial take that will get me cyberbullied, but as an autistic fujo who likes Spamtenna in some aspects, I’m gonna' say the scene with Gerson floating around Twitter with my minimal context understanding* likely isn’t saying Spamtenna is canon from a romantic / sexual standpoint because Gerson also mentions friendships. His statement seems to be about a loss of loved ones in general.
Of course, like - GIMMIE if there's proof, actually source and give it to me, of this being proven correct. But considering the themes of relationships as a whole in both Undertale and Deltarune, Gerson's statement appears more or less all-encompassing of relationship types, not just romantic.
*(I'm too busy doing physical slave labor to spend time watching 10hr streams etc.)
