I’ve been dying to have this printer for so long already, so I bit the bullet said fuck it and went for it.

I’m not kidding, best investment! 😍

lazy to whip out the mirrorless to take a couple of simple comparison shots, so i just used the xperia and did a quick collage for anyone who's interested in how it looks.

quick facts:

1) it uses instax mini (which is available everywhere)

2) it uses 2x CR2 batteries (which may be tricky to obtain)

3) sharpness is on par with the older pivi (which is marginally disappointing)

4) connectivity is only via wifi (it has an SSID, and password is configurable via an app on Android/Apple smartphones)

6) app allows you to, take a pic and print with your smart phone, choose a pic from facebook/instagram to print, reprint pictures you have printed before (gallery of past printed pics), change wifi password setting of the printer
