i miss the feeling of being in the crowd at rogers arena even when the canucks suck ass. because the mob mentality when anything happens to gasp and oo and scream is so wonderful and intoxicating and when you're at home watching on tv the crowd noise is like static that signals to your hindbrain that Anything Can Happen We Might Just Make It. sometimes i dont even realize why my heart is going faster or why im suddenly so wide eyed at the screen but it's the SOUND.... it's the feeling of everyone there in the stadium pressing into the glass like it'll let them onto the ice. and also in a more dramatic fashion it's the overlapping sound of eighteen thousand people saying I Love You over and over again but that's neither here nor there. i miss her and when i say her it's like. it's rogers arena it's my hockey team it's the feeling thrumming through the entire city that we can really be something this time... how much it means. how much it hurts. i miss her
