*Book reviews* ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "A Must Read.... I will start by saying this: I am not a recreational reader! There are very few books that I have read from start to finish. The River is a book that I not only completed but also read it a second time. I don't want to miss a thing. It's grabs you from the beginning and you don't want to put it down. It's very visual and violent, but that was the Era in which the story takes place. The author, T. Beaulieu, has done a superb job of blending folklore with the stories floating around in his head.
