In July 2005, Judith Miller who worked in New York Times was jailed for contempt of court for protecting the source of information however she did revealed her source of information which caused her lifetime embarrassment but it was too late.

Judith Miller got involved in controversy after her coverage of Iraq’s weapons of mass destruction program however her information was based on accurate information provided by an Iraqi Politician Ahmed Chalabi.

Cyril Almeida case is not that much different than this he has relied on a source that he is protecting currently.
