Okay, bear with me. This will make (not really) slightly more sense if you know that I've been reading some of Rumi's poems.
I heard this song on my grooveshark, and immediately thought "OMG, wouldn't it be cool if the person he were singing to weren't some lover/souseketeer but it was to his gun? Â And this song is all about this sort of fatalistic, ecstatic longing for release? Â Like Rumi's poems! Â Wouldn't it be amazing if you combined gun-kata stuffs with Rumi/ecstatic/dervishness (of which I know very little) and late 90's fatalistic way-of-the-gun, cowboy bebop feels?
