With the soft sound of an empty wine glass being set on the marble counter top of her kitchen island, Nefi sighs and lets her head hang forward a little. Hands resting on the cool counter, she takes just a moment to compose herself, before letting her head slowly roll back, stretching the stiffness in her neck with a slow, deep exhale and a soft groan. What she wouldn’t give for a massage right now. A massage, and a shot of tequila. 

Her large, modernist home was currently host to over 50 people, an industry party, exhausting. The kitchen, for the moment, was a quiet space. Free from the prying eyes of guests or their incessant questions and networking chit chat... it was truly taking all of her energy to not throw off her heels and slump up the stairs to her bedroom and collapse on her large California king. Behind her she can hear the wait-staff quietly tidying or readying the next order of hors d'oeuvres to circulate the party with. 

Steadily she pieces back the threads of her patience, slowly standing straight again before moving a hand to adjust the strap of her red cocktail dress, and lets slow fingers smooth over the fabric. “I hate these parties” she mutters to herself under her breath.

hades could see she was deep in though, he kept glancing over but eventually he stood and went over, holding his hand out. “c’mon, stop overthinking.. don’t care what it is you’re thinking about but stop dragging yourself into those thoughts. stand up.” he said with more of a smirk and when she did he pulled her in, keeping her hand but the other went to her waist. “men should’ve been dying at the chance to dance with you when you were young, you know that? i couldn’t go to the human world as easily then, but i do wish i could’ve shown you how you should have been treated megara, i’m sorry.” with that hades stayed to sway, slow dancing but with no music playing.. just a gentle movement. “did you learn how to dance? waltz?”
