"Oh, I see she's gotten another nose job..."

"Pffft, Photoshop much?"

"Those eyelids are not natural."

Just as Woohyun is about to close his Internet browser, however, his cellphone rings. Without looking at the caller ID, he touches the screen once before bringing the mobile to his ear. "What's up?"

"Please tell me you're not spending another Friday night on the computer."

"Well, good evening to you too, Sungyeol." Woohyun rolls his eyes as he hears an exasperated sigh pass from his friends' lips. "And to what do I owe this gracious call?"

"Well, I met up with Minhyuk recently and, well, I'm not really concerned about this, but I'm sure you would be, so I decided to call you and --"

"Out with it, please." Woohyun snaps his fingers next to the phone, growing impatient with Sungyeol's rambling.

"You should check out his Cyworld. That's all. Oh, and make sure you actually get out of the house tomorrow night, Jesus Christ." Woohyun could almost see Sungyeol throwing his hands up in exasperation.

"Good night to you too, Sungyeol." With that said, Woohyun disconnects their phones and returns his focus to the brightly-lit monitor before him. "Minhyuk's blog, huh? What could be so special about it?" Last time he had checked, Minhyuk's blog still had a good ways to go before even coming close to Woohyun's visitor number. With nonchalant ease, Woohyun navigated his way to the Cyworld in question before letting out a gasp of surprise. Minhyuk's visitor number had jumped considerably since the last time Woohyun had visited. The total visitor number was still much less than Woohyun's, but the amount of visitors Minhyuk had managed to garner over a 24 hour time period beat Woohyun's count for the day by a mile. "What the actual fuck?" The young male hissed as he scrolled through the comments left in Minhyuk's guestbook.

Woohyun felt all the hairs on the back of his neck stand on end. Competition. Woohyun might have just met a very formidable opponent in the world of internet idol-dom. Cautiously, he made his way to the most recent diary entry in the blog and found the infamous picture in question. In it, Minhyuk had one arm laying on a bar counter while his other arm was wrapped casually around a young man that was holding up victory signs with both hands. Woohyun breathed deeply as he observed the male that was causing Minhyuk's Cyworld to go crazy. He had to admit, the male wasn't bad looking. Dare he say it, the man might even be almost as good looking as Woohyun was.

Fast as lightning, Woohyun is hitting buttons on his smartphone. "Sungyeol, I have a favor to ask of you."

"His name is Ahn Jaehyo, and he models for an online shopping mall sometimes." Sungyeol takes a tentative sip from his mug of black coffee before smiling, showing off his healthy gums and teeth. "I think you may have just met your match, Namstar."

Woohyun lets out a grunt as he aimlessly stirs his cup of tea.

"Oh, he's a late '90 liner... And would you look at this." Sungyeol holds out his iPhone for Woohyun to see. "He's 182 centimeters tall; he's, like, twice your height."

Woohyun shoots a glare in the younger male's direction. "I don't know what height has to do with anything. Besides, stuff like that gets fabricated all the time."

"You would know."

"Shut up." Woohyun throws a few packets of sugar at the laughing male before him.

Sungyeol grins slowly, like a cat who's just caught its prey, before drumming his fingers on the table. "So, Minhyuk's holding a party at his flat tonight..."

Woohyun stiffens in his seat. "What time?"

Woohyun hated parties. He hated socializing in general, if he was to be perfectly honest. It was a wonder how he even had friends given how much he disliked interacting with people.

As he watches the drunk young adults all around him, he rolls his eyes in distaste. Sungyeol had left him thirty seconds after entering the flat, after stating he had caught sight of a "stupid photographer" he hadn't seen in ages.

"This is why I prefer spending nights at home..." Woohyun grumbled as he walked around what used to be Minhyuk's nice living room. With nothing else in mind, he made his way to the kitchen and poured himself another drink from the near-empty beer keg. As he turns around to walk away, however, he bumps into someone's chest and spills his alcohol onto that person's white shirt. "S-Sorry," he stammers as he looks around quickly for some napkins.

A thin hand with long fingers wraps itself hesitantly around his wrist. "It's okay. No big deal, really." Woohyun looks up at the sound of a soft voice and finally meets eyes with the person he had bumped into.

"You're... Ahn Jaehyo." He blurts out, clasping a hand over his mouth afterwards in embarrassment.

The lanky individual before him simply nods before patting down his soaked shirt with a Burberry handkerchief. "That's correct, but I don't think we've ever met before."

Woohyun freezes. "You mean... You've never seen me or heard of me before? Never? Never ever?"

Jaehyo stares blankly at him to emphasize his point.

Woohyun bites his lower lip to prevent his brain from embarrassing himself even further. "You must not go online very often." (He fails. Stupid pride.)

"Actually, I go online very often. I lurk more than anything else though, to be frank. I've noticed that, recently, I've gained a sort of cult following for my looks. It's kind of weird." Jaehyo smiles wistfully before staring down at Woohyun. "Are you one of my new fans? Does this mean I have to sign your plastic cup or something?"

Woohyun's jaw drops. "What -- Fan -- Are you crazy?" he sputters. "I'm Nam Woohyun. I'm a fan of no one but myself and don't you forget it!"

Woohyun leaves Minhyuk's flat right after that outburst. It's a dramatic exit that suits his tastes.

(And he hopes he never sees a certain tall model ever again, not after that encounter.)

"He made a Cyworld, Namstar, and his very first blog entry was about you. Holy crap, you must have made one hell of a first impression."

Woohyun almost drops his cellphone into his bowl of cereal. "Come again, Sungyeol?"

"Let me read the entry to you: 'Hello, I've never made a blog before. I prefer lurking, usually, but I thought I'd give this SNS thing a try. How are you all?' After this he posts a selca of himself waving... Oh, and then this! 'P.S. Nam Woohyun, let's be friends.' He actually wants to friend you, holy shit."

Woohyun hangs up, deciding that Sungyeol has nothing else useful to say but berate him for his "friending" tactics. Even if he hadn't known they were friending tactics.

He receives a text a few minutes later.

("Reminder to self: throw out all of Sungyeol's coffee beans the next time I'm at his place.")

Woohyun almost throws his phone at the wall after reading the Kakao message. Calming himself down, he sits in thought for several minutes before finally typing out a reply.

<Don't be jealous that I have abs and you don't. Kekekekeke.>

Woohyun types it out with a flourish. He smirks before immediately including a picture (or two) of himself topless, for good measure.

<I'm not really jealous. I'm quite a bit taller than you. That's good enough for me. ^^>

Woohyun locks his jaw before typing out a reply furiously.
