Hmm, advice and struggles? I completely support you making a blog yourself, it’s always such an amazing experience being able to create content for others but of course there are things to take into consideration for an imagines blog or a blog in general

1) Motivation: One of the biggest issues I have to deal with when writing prompts is being motivated to do such. It’s really hard, especially when you get burnt out - for me burn outs take a lot of time to recover from, so I suggest never pushing yourself too hard and being open with your audience on when you need to take breaks

2) Queue: Now this is just for me personally, but filling queues is probably one of the most boring things I ever have to do. I absolutely adore the content that I see while filling the queue, but actually labeling and organizing is time consuming - though ultimately it’s worth it. I get a lot of laughs out of the stuff I see :-)

3) Life: You want to make sure that you’re healthy and ready before you start answering/creating content. You come first, okay? If you stress out, don’t worry! It’s going to be okay, and everyone will understand. If you have to leave for a bit, take as much as you need because no matter what, we’ll be here for you 💙💙💙

4) Communication: Communication is key. Being connected with those who support you is an experience you can not replicate, and being able to share ideas, content and spread the love is one of my favorite things about having a blog. Knowing that people are smiling makes me happy and warm

Recently I’ve been looking through my inbox and I believe that it is in my best interest to address some questions that’re asked quite often

• “Why haven’t you answered my as yet?” “Has my ask been lost or have I not sent it correctly?”

- I do not often answer repeating asks of the same prompts or back to back. What I mean by this is I will not answer headcanon prompts of a certain character if I have just posted a prompt list already of said character or I have already answered these in the past

- I also do not answer all the asks I receive because either they are overlooked from the sheer number of requests I already have or they are unclear of what is being asked

• “Why don’t you write mxf or mxm/fxf asks often?”

- I’ve stated this in the past, my PERMANENT headcanon rule for my writing is a nonbinary or gender nonspecific farmer UNLESS REQUESTED SPECIFICALLY for gender specific farmers :-)

- Note: THIS ALSO APPLIES TO PREGNANT FARMERS/ FARMERS WITH CHILDREN. IF YOU WANT A SPECIFIC GENDER FOR ANY PREGNANCY PROMPT, PLEASE SPECIFY WHUMST

• “Why are some characters missing from headcanon prompts?”

- Sometimes I don’t have enough time or energy to write all 6/12 characters for a certain headcanon

- I don’t have any headcanon ideas for certain characters so they are left out because I don’t like repeating ideas for other characters

• “Why don’t you write about the bachelorettes more often?”

- I write what is requested from other people, and often the bachelors are more popular. I love the bachelorettes just as much as the bachelors, but requests for bachelors are the majority

• “Are you the only SDV NSFW blog?” “Are there more nsfw writers in the fandom?”

- honestly I have no clue. I do believe that @sdvbachelors writes intimate prompts sometimes, but I haven’t seen any other nsfw blogs around for me to point out💧💧

• “Are writing/using your headcanons or AU’s okay?”
