✤: a memory that involves romance/love

she’s actually never had a huge crush; it’s just a tiny “oh my god they’re so cute and sweet to me wtf why” and i guess romance just wasn’t what she focused on most of the time.

however, there was this one time where she approached austria and tried to talk to him properly but instead of trying to have a normal conversation most of her responses were so stupid she always left and ended the convo first and wasn’t able to speak to him properly ever since. like “hi how are you doing julchen”“i’m hot for you I MEAN shit”on the other hand, it eventually happened with every guy she met because she’s such a wimp like meeting gilbert’s and ludwig’s friends made her anxious (and still do a bit).

my opinion on;

character in general: I've never liked Italy all too much? I think it's mostly because I'm not all too interested in the history -- I also know almost know nothing on the country past like the Lombards. Saying that though (because I mean I don't know say Estonia's history either), I've just never particularly liked him. I can appreciate that some are able to make him an amazing three dimensional character that is heavily aided by history but I still don't like him.

how they play them: Normally I follow blogs that are often aided by history more than they are canon, but that isn't the case with this blog. It's obvious that this portrayal of Italy has been made just for fun, a way of reducing stress that might otherwise be present if you wanted to be extremely accurate -- and I like it. Because this character is written to be fun to write with, there's not much of a chance for a historical thread -- and the writing aids his character immensely in my opinion. He's not meant to be straying into history and that's fine, something I've had to learn myself. 

the mun: I'm pretty sure it was you that had another blog a long while back and you called me a macaroni at one point. I adore you though -- and if you are indeed the same person I'm glad you're back. If not I'm glad to have met you then .

From what I remember of TOS, there was an episode where the children of a dead crew turned up? and they were brought to the children's bay or...something along those lines haha.

Anyway, like I was saying, Pete would be one of the officer's children. (possibly two of the officers?) Since he would be too young to really do anything aboard the ship, he's mostly learning about space. He loves outer space (he was practically born on a spaceship), so his dad takes him out on occasion and teaches him about the galaxy.
