The greyed corpse fell from the tip of his blade, the warrior's face serious. The newbie's backs were vanishing in the distance and Orca almost wished they had given him a 'Thank you.' but he realized the satisfaction of defeating such a bully made up for it.
R:2 sure was a warzone if you ran into the right people. Kite was right in saying it was more relaxed as far as strange happenings (or so he thought) but the gameplay itself was much more brutal....
And he couldn't complain.
The good old days of R:1 let him be the honorable warrior everyone loved that he wanted to be, but he learned very quickly that the attitude he carried then would get him killed. Still charitable, still kind...but not someone who'd chose to talk a conflict over before striking.
The monochrome body of the Twin Blade finally faded and Orca swung his sword in triumph before putting it away. As glorious as this small victory had been, his opponent fought hard, and Orca couldn't deny the hits to his HP.
