soosdip occurred to me when i was rewatching gideon rises, and ofc during that the pines family have to temporarily move in with soos and his grandmother, and i noticed that for some reason, soos and dipper were sharing the pullout couch ?? which made me go 🤔 ?

and like. mabel was sleeping on the floor. for some reason 😭 like the most logical sleeping arrangements to Me would've been to put mabel and dipper on the couch and let stan have the cot and obviously soos and abuelita would sleep in their own rooms. but no, soos is for some reason barely clothed sharing a bed with a 12yo while having his own bedroom. okay sure

this scene was what really made me raise a brow but honestly i think soosdip is actually really cute — dipper places a lot of trust in soos and soos in return is willing to stand up to stan ( who is arguably his father figure ) to protect dipper. not to mention they just clearly enjoy spending time together along with soos being the only male close to dipper's age that he has a very positive relationship with ( i will still fetishize that age gap though don't worry ).
