it was a struggle, really. going to overly crowded places like the fair and not being tall enough to see performers because the only thing she could see within her peripherals was a crowd of heads. she wasnât that short, per say. it just so happened to be her unlucky day that almost everyone that had gathered around happened to be a bit taller than her. stretching on her tiptoes were of no use, and she only lasted two seconds before her feet declared exhaustion. âthis is so stupid. why did we come here anyways.â she grumbled childishly and crossed her arms, tapping her feet as she continued to look around for a window of opportunity. she knew the answer to her own question: she had been dying to go to a fair and ace was willing to go with her. a snort was heard from the younger boy and her lips immediately curled into a sneer. âshould i put you on my shoulders so you can see?â oh. well, maybe that would be a good idea too. craning her head back slightly, she gave her friend a quick once-over before nodding. âiâm not gonna hurt your back or anything if you put me on your shouldersâŚright? wait, this isnât a joke either, is itââ
"Because you wanted to see all these acts perform, of course.â Ace answered her rhetorical question matter-of-factly as he glanced at her, a small smile on his lips. He also had his arms folded in front of his chest, his height allowing him a peaceful watching experience. Of all advantages there ever is regarding being tall, this just might be his top favorite. At one point, the girlâs whining finally seemed to bother him too, however. Searching for other options to help her but to no avail, Ace stretched his arms upward, let them fall to his side and ultimately offered kindness.
âI-- I think so,â he snorted a bit, giving her a head-to-toe before craning his neck side to side. âYou seem light, so I donât think itâs a problem. Unless... you weigh more than you look.â Smiling broadly, he took a few steps backward to move away from the crowd and crouched down at a less packed spot. âGo on.â
