An unconventional roomate
Fucking jack ass. If he wasn’t staying for the full week he shouldn’t have to pay for the full week right? Chris had apologized for the noise complaint that had been caused by his leaving the radio on before going out for the day. However, it seemed that the motel owner was not feeling very forgiving this day and had told him to pack his things.Â
Making his way down the street bright blue eyes scanned the businesses that surrounded him. Maybe he could find a new place to stay. Or at the very least find something entertaining to do before finding a parking space and crashing in his van. It certainly wouldn’t be the first time he had slept in it, and nor did he believe it to be the last. To be honest he was more annoyed at the fact that he had only stayed half of the time he had already paid for at the motel. But never let it be said that Chris couldn’t keep his chin up. As inconvenient as this was there was still a wide and unabashed grin on his face as he passed the people on the street. This was just a minor bump in the road. It was a bit chilly, and might lead to a chillier night, but he had been through worse.Â
Chris had a fondness for older looking items. The van he drove was a reconstructed Volkswagen, he was strutting proudly down the street in an old aviator jacket he had gotten from his grandfather, and was carrying the same violin in it’s case that he had owned since he left home for the first time. Chris never went anywhere without Loreley. Some things he believed just couldn’t be improved.Â
After a short while of walking one establishment caught his eye. Curios of what kind of new people he could meet inside Chris turned and headed for the front door.Â
