The anon below isn't quite right. Percy lives in Midtown. And let me tell you... getting tan in NYC is pretty hard. it's constantly foggy and unless percy hung out in central park all the time, he'd be less tan than annabeth, who is on the run most of the time *shrug*
Ok well there we go then, and Annabeth switches off living in San Fran too and despite the fog the sun is still closer and hotter on the West coast than the East
I mean, people can imagine the characters however they want, I just have personally always imagined Annabeth with like the Malibu Barbie tan skin and blondie blonde hair in big thick curls going on and Percy with like the New York skaterboy shaggy dark hair and light skin look to him *shrugs too*
