What if Inazuma Eleven Ares was a sequel to the Go Trilogy instead of an alternate sequel to Inazuma eleven season 1?
In my honest opinion, I think that Inazuma Eleven Ares would have worked better as a sequel to Inazuma Eleven Go galaxy, The mere fact that it is an alternate timeline detracts from the new characters and development we already know. This is what the New Football Frontier teams would be like after the closure of the fifth sector

Backstory: After defeating Ixar Fleet and becoming the champions of Gran Celesta Galaxy , the Earth Eleven returns to the Earth, but for everyone else, Inazuma Japan came back after their defeat against the Columbian National Team 4-1 in FFIV2, but in any case they are received with all honors and everyone congratulates team members on their accomplishments. He considers that the match against Barcelona Orb is important, despite the result and the fact that Raimon had no chance. He tells him that the match shows that Japan's actual level of football is far from that of the rest of the world because of the damage of the Fifth Sector, s regulated football and to have a chance against the world, Japan's football must improve.
He wants Raimon's players to take responsibility for this, as they were not only the national champions, but the wind of revolution that reminded Japan of real football. He proposes that players teach the spirit of Raimon to players from all over Japan, specially for those schools that were very influenced by Fifth Sector: one player will captain a team in Hokkaido, another in Shikoku, etc. This means that Raimon must be disbanded for at least a while (also, for the third grade players like Samguk, Subaru and Wan-Chang, they had to restart their grades in the new schools if they go as Football Ambassadors) .
