:You Never Fight Alone:

There is a stairway built for everyone

It is up to each individual

To climb each step whether they walk or run

There is no set path, no lone ritual

Each step a new challenge, pain, sorrow, fear

We must see through the dark to reach the light

Reaching the top is worth your every tear

For everyone goes through the same respite

Look inside yourself; listen to your heart

There will be doubt, depression, helplessness

From all of these you will need to depart

There will be many battles, do not stress

Another is there to fight beside you

At the top, you will meet, long overdue

:Shadows: Part 2

It seemed too great, but at the highest place

As if fate, it all came tumbling down

Maybe one day, I will forget your face

But until then my world seems all rundown

My heart bleeds for all it’s worth, all we were

Sitting here, my color gone, my world black

The floor red, and my vision a white blur

I wait for the day that I can bounce back

Not yet, not today and not tomorrow

I know not when I will see light return

Do not pity me for my own sorrow

I shall hide it and inside let it churn

But the creeping doubt seeps from the shadows

All I can hope is that nobody knows

:Worst Case: (Part 1)

This is a feeling I’ve had for a while

I wouldn’t give it away for the world

It is the very reason for my smile

I have no idea when this all unfurled

But I love the way it spreads to my heart

And makes me all fuzzy from head to toe

Without it I know I would fall apart

All I can hope is that it doesn’t show

Given this great gift I am paranoid

Higher and higher this love makes me soar

At the same time I look down at the void

A thought, set aside, shaken to my core

Cause I’m afraid of what would take place

If it all went downhill, in the worst case

:Knowledge is Power:

When will the unfairness in this world end.

For who do we think we are to dictate

This life, this gift, we should share with a friend.

With the knowledge that it will dissipate,

We should strive to be all that we can be.

Years go by, learning what it is we are,

Hatred for unknown, all that we can’t see.

With words we do not mean we leave a scar,

When we should be enjoying all we hold

And rectifying the words of the past,

Instead it seems we fear to be so bold.

Take heed and behold this knowledge at last.

On man, beast, and plant alike, we decree

With power that was not given to thee.
